Dreams Among the Ruins is a postapocalyptic reinterpretation of A Midsummer Night's Dream, set in a future when the United States has become a ruined nation populated by isolated groups:

The city-state of Indipol, led by Governor Seus Demeter, seeks to rebuild the ancient civilization of the United States. Having captured the warrior tribe of the Sisters of Ohia, Seus hopes a marriage to the warrior Polyta will join the two peoples together. On the longest night of the year, illicit desires and the wild magic of the Fair Folk threaten to destroy his dream.
